Tanda launch new stamps

An exciting NEW range in both rubber AND clear stamps have been launched today by 'Tanda Stamps' they are in the style of Clarice Cliff, the Artist CC was born on January 20th 1899 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. http://www.claricecliff.com/about/clarice/index.htm
Tanda stamps designer for the CC set is Sue Law... Sue tells us how they came about...

Well what do I say.....these stamps were kind of a happy accident. I started off drawing some Erte style stamps and then some borders/backgrounds to go with them.....now if you look at the background of some of Erte's designs the trees and bushes are very similar to Clarice Cliff.....When I showed Andrew and Alex (at Tandastamps) the drawings, they latched onto the ones that were similar to Clarice and asked me if I could do some Clarice inspired designs. So I said I'd do some research..... When I put my designs together I try to do something that can be used for men as well as women....and I think the Clarice set does that nicely......also I felt that there had to be some reference to ceramics and so came up with the idea of having a blank teapot and cup and saucer that could be masked and over stamped with the designs thus making the stamps even more versatile. I have to say that I am very pleased with these sets, they work well on large and small cards, ATC's and depending on how you decide to colour them they can be quite subtle or very bright hence fit many tastes and moods. Sue has created 7 ATC's with the stamps and has very kindly given them to our 'Artist Trading Club' to be used as Blog Candy they have been signed by the artist and the set of 7 is up for grabs and all you have to do is go to http://www.tandastamps.com/

and find the prices of the Clarice Cliff Set 1 and Clarice & Erte Borders' both in the rubber and in the clear ... most of you know the drill by now ..you email me with the answers and leave me a comment where you can :)) GOOD LUCK. this blog candy ends on Monday at 12 noon. chrissylamata@live.co.uk
The ATC you see below is one made for me by Sue as I am unable to take part in our randomly picked blog candy draw...you can see on this ATC Sue has used part of the Clarice and Erte boarders set.

Thank you Sue I am Proud to add it to my collection. And not forgetting our Dottie, below is a post card she sent us from her holiday blog it is of

The Custom House in South Shields where she has been going into work with her HOSTESS Jaqi...why not pop over to Jaqi's blog to see what Dottie has been up to :))

Hope you all have a good Friday and wondered just how many of you are into the new BIG BROTHER which started last night.

Luv Chriss x
