Then maybe just maybe you will recognise her avatar....

YES, I hear some of you say and for those who have not had the pleasure of meeting the very lovely and talented Patty you can visit her on her truly amazing creative blog H E R E.

I am so happy that Patty agreed to be our GD she is not only talented but is also a very warm and giving person and I am thrilled to have met her in blog land.

I asked Patty for a little Bio... here is what she said......

I am a self taught mixed media artist living in Virginia just outside of Washington DC. Playing with paper, fibers, photography and more is my idea of fun.

If it holds still, it might get altered.
Giving items like cutlery, old tins and rusty bits a new life is exciting to me.
Nothing goes to waste.

I have enjoyed making a variety of things since I was a girl.
Creating daily …“playing” as I like to call it … is a kind of therapy for me and helps me keep my balance and feel fulfilled.

When I started blogging back in October 2007 I had no idea the lovely connections I would make all around the globe.

There is so much caring and sharing in the mixed media community. I am inspired each and every day and delighted by kind visitors to my Magpie’s Nest Blog.

It is a delightful honor to be invited as April’s “Vintage” Guest Designer.

I am a dabbler. I love to create using all sorts of mediums.

Pattern papers, rubber stamping, fabric, wood, assemblage, collage, altered art, a never ending smattering of whatever strikes my fancy in whimsical moments.

I find creating allows my soul to be fulfilled and love to spend hours in the studio.

Okay back to this months challenge on our ATC blog ....SWAP 'TIL YOU DROP and as spring is in the air...(in some parts of the world lol) alot of us will be thinking of our gardens... me for one as this will be my first year with a garden in a long time.... Nancy has chosen the theme ' Garden Fairies' for us and has created 5 gorgeous ATC's using digital images from 'Paper Whimsy'

How would you like to take on this challenge and be in with a chance of owning one of Nancy's fab ATC's?

What do I have to do I hear some of you ask....

Easy Peasy...I cry...

Just create 5 ATC 's on the theme of ' Garden Fairies' ....send 4 into me to be swapped and keep the other one for your own collection.

Hello Chris,

I've just gone on to the ATC website and think I've been a bit ungracious. I'm not a fan of Blogs, but then I don't really understand them. So I thought I'd check on some of them.

ok I can see that it is fascinating to see what other people are up to and understand your comment about feeling closer to folk who join in the challenges.

I'll have to get my sons to get me started, But i'm last in the pecking order on the computer

I'll look forward to the March challenge.

IT'S OUR 3RD BIRTHDAY

Hi and WELCOME to our on line birthday bash our club has been going 3 years and I can hardly believe it... just where does the time go.

IT'S OUR PARTY AND I'LL CRAFT IF I WANT TO...LOL...

Since setting up the ATC swap club and our blog I have met some fab creative people and each and everyone of you have helped me through the last 3 years, THANK YOU.

So without further delay lets kick off this BiIRTHDAY bash with our first ATC today.... so far I have 13 to give away and between posts I will be making more WHY not join in and if you make one then leave a link and I will come and visit you.

This is our ATC number 1, created in my zetti style... I used stamps for her head and body from Crafty Individuals... you all know I love their stamps...lol.

Would you like to add her to your collection of ATC's... well you can by leaving a comment on this post, every name on each post will be put into a hat tomorrow (as that gives our international swappers a chance to play along closing at 12noon....UPDATE... 4PM UK TIME MONDAY, IT WOULD SEEM SOME OF OUR PEEPS DID NOT RECEIVE THE INVITE TO JOIN US SO WE ARE EXTENDING OUR FINISH TIME ) and Marley with the magic hands will pick out a name when he returns from his football coach training Monday evening.
