Meet our ATC guest designer for November....

...Lorri Lennox – Mixed Media Artist, born in Leeds, UK in 1962, now living in Perth, Western Australia.

With a love of all things paper arty & vintage Lorri enjoys hand painting her backgrounds for her arts.

More recently Lorri has been sketching and painting her own ‘girls’ and is enjoying the uniqueness that this offers her work.

The first 4 ATC's are examples of 'KEY' ATC's which I have borrowed from Lori's Flickr album.
You will see Lorri's KEY ATC's for this challenge at a later date

I have chosen examples of ATC's from Lorri's blog and Flickr, I could have chosen so many more there were sooo many I loved....

I hope that you get as much inspiration from them as I know I will esp the gel medium transfers.

One of Lorri's own girls...

Her art and aceo’s will often contain her current emotions. Sometimes it is hidden but often is obvious. As for colours, green is a definite favourite, along with sepia and natural colours.

A love of the “grunge” styles is also evident in her work.
As a fan of “Gel Medium Transfers”, Lorri loves to transfer images to different backgrounds, looking for an unusual finish and blend.

Most atc’s & aceo’s are inked, rubber-stamped or collaged to create different canvasses to work upon. Several pieces are finished with hand-drawn doodles and pen work for abstract.

A Self confessed trading addict, Lorri loves to trade cards, and has traded with hundreds of people worldwide and also runs several online groups.
Selections of Lorri’s art is also available for purchase on her Etsy store:
http://www.artivity.etsy.com/ you can visit her personal blog: http://www.auslorri.blogspot.com/
or see more of her artwork on her flickr site:

Lorri co-owns a paper-craft store “Scrappindipity” located near Fremantle WA, with her daughter Bec.

Please pop along to see more of Lorri's work.... how could you not...lol

I would like to thank Lorri so much for taking on this challenge at a time when she is busy looking after her mum who is poorly with cancer.
Big hugs to you and your family from all of us.

If you want to be in with a chance of getting one of Lorri's KEY ATC's, join us in the swap.Email for info.

Still some BHD ATC's to come AND IF YOU ARE STILL WITH US thank you...lol.
I hope that you are enjoying meeting our ATC Guest Designers as much as I do looking for and finding them.
Thank you to Martina for guesting last month.
Hello and welcome to Gini and Danny our new followers.
Luv Chriss x
