Paula's Fashion Swatches/March ATC challenge

UP DATE.... Tomorrow takes us already into the 3rd month of 2009...how did this happen?? did anyone see where the weeks went to??

Now for the March 2009 ATC challenge.....
We would love for you to join us in creating 5 ATC's sending 4 to me to be swapped and keeping one for your own collection.
As always they can either be all the same OR each one different... your choice, to reach me by 31st March.

The challenge is to use the letters A B C D E..... either all 5 letters on one ATC as I have done for my background or one single letter used on one ATC at the start of the word Angel....see 2 of my examples below.

For the 2009 'Fashions' our designer Paula has put together 4 fabulous Colour swatches for you to receive,
This 1st one reminds me of 'summer fruits' a tasty collection indeed yummy!

The 3rd has me thinking of holidays in Scotland with the beautiful wild heathers which dress the countryside.

If you look closely you will see Paula has chosen to embossed each ATC with a fashion dress... the scanner does not do these fab ATC's justice and if you were lucky enough to receive one in your swaps then you will know what I mean as IRL they are gorgeous.

Denise's fashion atc's

I do not remember Toddilox but I do recall my mum putting my hair in rags every night at bedtime ....does anyone else remember having the same treatment?

Those corsetts were a must after we had a baby to get our shape back, I remember them well after my eldest was born by the time my 2nd was born I was wearing tights.... haha

Hey, They had BOGOF offers (BUY ONE GET ONE FREE) at the time of POUND SHILLINGS AND PENCE.

Sue Law Paris fashions

Our Paris fashion designer today is Sue Law, she has chosen a classic elegant look in Autumnal colours using fibre and gold trimings a timeless look.

Feb ATC challenge is 'Friendship' to be in by the 28th Feb but because we have a short month we will extend until the 5th march for those that need a few more days ...I know what it is like when you want to do them but life gets in the way of your crafting...lol.

Fashion challenge

Welcome to the start of Novembers challenge 'Fashion' ATC's.

Our first 2 are part of the collection sent in by Carol, does anyone match either of these 2 shapes?

I wish I was the lollypop shape with the pear shape boobs...lol...those long legs and being able to buy a bra of the peg so to speak...no embarressing moments being measured in the nudepretenting not to be bothered by it... no more popping out of the top... no straps digging in...ouch! does anyone else have the same problems?

My dream to be back to a 36B.

Sheila Jordon, The last of October's ATC's

Sorry a day late in showing you the last of the Breast cancer awareness ATC's... I was soooo busy cleaning the house and organising my craft stash
My increased medication gave me sooo much energy over this last 5 days ....I just had to strike whilst the iron was hot...it could be cold again tomorrow.. the first time cleaning got in the way of crafting..lol... just hope it doesn't happen too often.

Well all nice and tidy here but not for long Chris is landing in about 1 hour and we will wreck the place again.

These gorgeous ATC's with wonderful gold and silver embossing belong to Sheila Jordon of Reading... thank you Sheila.

In the next couple of days I will post the start of the Fashion ATC's for you.

Now for my confession.... I have had 3 chocolate coated biscuits.... and do you know I really didnt enjoy them that much... the first bite was yummy and then...nothing to write home about now I think about it.
However I have lost 4lb so far.... not much but at least it is going in the right direction...lol.

Just a very quick post to let you know that February's theme for our ATC challenge is...... 'Friendship'....as February is International Friendship Month....

Still time to get your January swaps in you have until the 30th Jan...the theme is to use Recycled parts of an old Calendar.

The images are from Crafty Individuals they are the A4 sheets they sell , the rubber stamps are from crafty Individuals too, they were embossed with pearlised embossing powder from Crafty Corner.

The breast cancer pink ribbon is a die from cutting edge crafts for the cuttlebug.
By the way the franked postage stamps are of Paris, London, Berlin, Rome New York.... The idea is that no matter where you are in the world , BREAST CANCER CAN EFFECT

Denise's pink ATC's

2 weeks ago I tried scanning these 4 ATC's sent to us from Denise in SAfrica

However the scanning was not in the least bit kind to them and so today I have played around with my Christmas pressie ... a new camera... ( thank you Chris for teaching me how to use it...some of it I forgot and needed to get the instruction manual out again) any way I am pleased with the results although I know there is so much more to learn...

The pics do give you an Idea as to how much detail there is.

I also want to mention that Jaqi who has been looking after our ATC Queen Dottie has been ill since before Christmas and had to take to her bed as it knocked her off her feet...So pleased Jaqi that you are on the mend. Take Care

My Breast cancer awareness Pink ATC's

Here are my 'PINK' ATC's for BCA month.

For number's 1 and 4 I used a fabulous pearl pink cardstock which I received from Solance over at Sparkle Dreams click on HERE and see what other lovely goodies she has.

On the second and 3rd one I was playing with paints and gesso to get a textured background.... you will get a better look by clicking on the pictures.

Number 4 'Go bra less' is for the 2 people in my life.... one being my mum at the age of 72 and another a friend ... both lost their breast 5 years ago and despite everything they kept their fantastic SOH throughout the treatment and operation. I am proud of them both.

Did anyone give up anything for their New Years resolution...I have given up Chocolate for the next 3 month!!!! Can I do it????

How many of you used the wrappers from 'Quality Street' and 'Lucky Number's' chocolates at Christmas time to watch the 'Black n White TV' in colour... how funny was that...Coronation Street's Elsie Tanner in wonderful colours.... WHATEVER happened to 'Lucky Numbers' Chocolates.

Hopefully I can keep away from the chocolate as I put too much weight on in the last 7 months and NEED to get it off.... I promise to tell you if I fail on the chocolate front..lol.
