Music ATC's

Joey my 7yr old DGS came to stay with granny over the weekend and whilst I was scanning in the Music ATC's he asked to make some music ones.

Joey has been making them since he was just 6.

So we kick off with his Music ATC's this month... he called them 'Joey's band'. Thank you Joey...he took them home to add to his collection... sorry you wont be getting any of his in your swaps. lol.

Number 2, Thanks Tracy Love black and white and the corner punch used hope you received my letter in time.

Number 3 all the way from Australia created by Susan her first attempt at ATC's we hope it won't be your last. Thank you Susan.

Number 4, most of you who know Jaqi would take bets on her doing Elvis for her music theme...lol... if you are a fan you are in for a treat if you get one of these in your swap.
Number 5 Arrived from Brunei .....hello Paula thank you... they are so romantic.
Number 6 is also Paula's which I forgot to post here last month for the Fairytale theme.. Not a good scan sorry in real life it is gorgeous ..the words on the heart read... 'and they lived happily ever after' Thanks Paula.

If any of you visit The Papergirls blog you will know I adore Altering THINGS... well I have been a bad blogger this week due to being busy altering the neighbours cats... what do you think....

They are no different to us they still need their roots doing..... rofpmsl.

Our Dottie

Our Dottie is missing Sam, Sam is her holiday romance she met whilst staying with Jaqi earlier this year.... Dottie asked if she could go and visit him and Jaqi said she would be delighted for her to go.

Stay tuned and we will let you know which day she is going.

Dottie update... D is on her way to see Sam, Jaqi and family today 31st October in time for Halloween.

MOTHERS KNOW EVERYTHING
Peter invited his mother for dinner, during the course of the meal his Mother couldn't help but notice how lovely Peter's flat mate, Joanne, was.

She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this only made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Peter and his flat mate than met the eye.

Reading his mum's thoughts, Peter volunteered, 'I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Joanne & I are just flat mates'.

About a week later, Joanne came to Peter saying, 'ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the frying pan, you don't suppose she took it do you?

'Well I doubt it, but I'll e-mail her just to be sure' said Peter. So he sat down and wrote

DEAR MOTHER,I'M NOT SAYING THAT YOU 'DID' TAKE THE FRYING PAN FROM MY HOUSE. I'M NOT SAYING THAT YOU 'DID NOT' TAKE THE FRYING PAN BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT IT HAS BEEN MISSING EVER SINCE YOU WERE HERE FOR DINNER.

The above ATC was achieved using 1 white blank ATC 1 ink pad of cobalt blue, a mixture of water and household bleach and some bubble wrap plus the bikers stamp.

Dottie is on her travels again

Sorry I was unable to post over the weekend I was staying at my daughters (she insisted I go as I haven't been well medication kicking in and getting there and thank you to all your emails wishing me well) and although I have my laptop with me Blogger wasnt at all friendly until late last night.

Our picture of Dottie indicates that our very own ATC Queen herself is off on another adventure holiday today to stay as a guest with one of our club members.
She was soooo excited when she set off this morning.
Dottie will let you know just where in the world she is between 8 and 9 this evening.

Russian doll challenge

Hi,
After doing my take on the Russian dolls I set you a challenge to have ago thanx for those that had the time to take part.
I receved this little snippet of information from a friend he just thought I should know....
Hi Chrissy just a small point.. I see the Babushka cards..
Babushka in Russian is "old woman" and is a little derogatory in its use. I think that you are referring to the Russian nesting dolls.. the Russian word is Matryoshka The word "Babooshka" doll appeared for a while because the word "matryona" is associated with a very large and fat Russian woman. Babooshka doll is rather a slang term for the nested doll and is not correct... wanting to put the record straight, with my new Russian connections, possibly you could tell the blog.... .... :-))))) There you have just told them yourself. LOL Thanks for the lesson :))
The 1st Russian doll ATC 'From Russia With Love'.... was sent by Sharron and she has a huge collection showing on her blog.
the music one is mine it just reminds me of someone special and so added my pic to it as well.
