Junes challenge and a little toot.

Here we are half way through 2009...frightening isn't it.... 6 months to Christmas... Don't!! I hear you cry.

And so for our June ATC challenge.... I thought that we could try using 'METAL' in some form or another...

Below are some examples using 'METAL'

Do you remember this 1st one which Karen from Scrapz created for Dotties Fashion show last year...I still laugh at it now...it is sooo funny.

Next one is one that I made for Linda of ABAA some time ago.

The next 3 I have created for this months challenge the 1st 2 are using gold metal embossing powder on the background and Lisa's Altered Art images ...couldn't resist them....

And a little toot.... I am proud to have been accepted on the LAA design team as I just love her images and you should see the new sheets she launched a few days ago they are fabulous...I LOVE EM!

This next little guy is scrummy he reminds me of Leigh (DS2) when he was a baby.

The background has been cut from metal on a roll and then put through my Big Shot inside of a cuttlebug folder I then coloured it with alcohol inks which I bought from Karen at Scraps.

Hope that you enjoy this months challenge and you have been inspired with the examples here.

Another wonderful day of SUNSHINE hope that you all have the feel good factor today.

Take care and will be posting the others in the ABCDE challenge soon along with the Friends ATC's which I have now recovered for my sick 'puter'

Have a great day and WELCOME to our NEW FOLLOWERS...If anyone wishes to join in with our swaps then please contact me at chrissylamata@live.co.uk

ATC Sewing challenge & UPDATE

The ATC below is an example from one of Jenny Franklins Sewing ATC's

she has sewn on buttons and created a pretty flower in cross stitch

See also 3 other sewing examples for Ideas.

Something as simple as sewing on beads, buttons or a few lines of stitching around the outer edge would be enough to complete this challenge...we are not all seamstresses... I'm not that's for sure. LOL.

I do hope that you will still find the time to join in with this one and because I am late showing you examples I can give you until the 8th June to get them to me.

Thanks to those who have already sent in their Sewing ATC's.

I spent the whole of today Scanning the last 2months ATC's and the swaps will be completed this evening and into the post in the morning.

Thank you everyone for being so understanding with the delay.

Its great to have my puter back it's a good friend to me.

Will be catching up very soon showcasing all the other ATC's.

Please check back when you can.

Must pop off and clear some of the 100's of emails waitng to be answered.

Sorry

Hi,
Just a note to say I am sorry I am unable to post any ATC's at the moment ...I have been without my PC since Sunday...
Windows tells me I have a corrupted file and that they are fixing it...that was on Sunday and its still running and correcting files???????
Thinking this could be a bug but really hope not.

As soon as I'm back on my own PC I will catch up with posting.

Jaqi's Calendar ATC's

Hi, we have another set of wonderful recycled calendar ATC's and this time they are from Jaqi.

The stamps I think are from Karen at Scrapz...would you just confirm that for us Jaqi by leaving a comment.

The black n white images work so well with stamps and I am pleased to say that I am lucky to own one of them.

It's great just how everyone has interpreted the theme so differently :))

Thank you Jaqi.

I hope that you are all having a good weekend...more ATC's on Monday.

luv Chriss x

P.S. Dont forget Aprils challenge, see April 1st post

and I will let you into a little secret...May '09 ATC theme is 'SEWING'.... I did mine last night....hey I am ahead for once.

Still waiting for 1 set of ABCDE ATC's to arrive to be able to do this months swap...they should be with us soon.

Debbie's idea of a diet...yum yum

Debbie has joined us for the first time in a very long time her life was soooo busy....due to change she has found time to craft and play with papers once again...

Welcome back Debbie.

Debbie's idea of using an old Calendar is one I am in love with...well the iet side of it...lol...

Chocolate and cup cakes on certain days of the week for the whole of the year...how good does that sound.

Hope everyone gets to enjoy at least 1 Easter egg this weekend.

Thanks Debbie for your ATC's... AND hope that you are enjoying your Hols in Jamaica....seee you soon.
